I just finished watching the race off the DVR. I had no doubts about how this would play out. He got screwed in qualifying. I knew he could do it. F1 should have kept him, but they are morons.

When he and Tagliani were absolutely booking it away from the pack, I knew it would be one of the two.

F1 hasn’t necessarily given up on Rossi yet. He’s still a reserve driver for Manor GP and there may be further opportunities.

One of the top teams should have signed him a few years ago. They all blew it.

To say they blew it would be presumptuous but I may agree that he should be/have been given more of a chance; a test at least. There’s still time, maybe someone will give him a go.

They didn’t blow it, he’s remedial for F1, which is equivalent to good for Indy, you just gotta go back to last year when an old, washed up F1 also-ran won the same race.
I know there was a time when Indy was almost as competitive as F1, but those days are long long gone.

Oh speaking of predictions, I called it at about half way when I told my wife we will hear the words “Takuma Sato in the wall”
Some of his greatest hits!

I think the Vegas odds on that happening were 1/100.
